About us
Welcome,
We are a market & carboot run by market trader's with 15yrs+ experience.
We are a Free entry and free parking event for all.
We aim to open Every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday All year round .
OPENING TIMES.
Winter opening times vary slightly depending on conditions but we always try to be open by first light.
In peak periods March-October we open at 6:30 am at the earliest & usually run till 1:00 pm
We are arguably Suffolk's biggest, longest running carboot with many great local community and business connections,
We pride ourselves on providing great customer service and experience.
We offer a truly unique selling experience from our well kept easy to navigate grounds with welcoming staff.
Affordable seller hire options Tables & Clothes rails to help with your days selling and save you some space in the car.
We have a little shop section for the bits you might have forgotten .
and even a bit of merchandise !
We also have the privilege of claiming to have the most Air Ambulance charity banks in the UK !
Thats 10 permanent charity banks for donations if you have anything left after selling.
We have regular charities and one off fund raisers attend most weeks free of charge !
We are also working constantly with police, fire and ambulance services to help raise awareness and community safety,
We have a book recycling point that people like to deposit and swap / re-use there old books and then they get taken away for recycling or resale locally.

What's it Cost to sell as a car-booter ?
A standard pitch parked straight in is £8 you will get a minimum of 20ft
If you request to park side on the fee is £10 you will get a minimum of 30ft
Larger stalls can be requested if needed and pricing will be a minimum of 0.40p per foot.
Vehicle type is not relevant you get charged by space given and/or taken
Here at Kessingland
we keep it simple if its dark we dont open,
Carbooting in the pitch black isnt much fun for anyone
and its potentially dangerous with so many pedestrians vehicles and sleepy people !
We do allow carboot sellers to
arrive from 5am to queue
if they want to.

PLEASE NOTE
We do have businesses and regular sellers arrive and gain access via the back road entrance
for a earlier start time at 6am
They pay extra for this service anyone can use this if they wish
Early entry is £15.00
if you want to be a regular Early seller
please ask staff for the information leaflet
We are very passionate about our work with every type of charity or fund raiser especially local ones,
So much so in fact we dont charge any of them to attend !

Whats the Parking & toilet facilities like ?
We offer ample parking space completely free of charge !
you won’t have to worry about finding a spot even on the busiest days. The market is designed with accessibility in mind, and there are no complicated paths or obstacles to navigate. Whether you’re coming with a family, a stroller, or a wheelchair Mobility scooter, the layout ensures everyone can enjoy a visit.
We strive to keep our toilets as clean and safe as possible with continuous cleaning and checks made through the day.
Hot and cold water taps and soap are all provided.
Please be aware we do have cubicles with hand rails but we dont currently have a fully wheelchair accessible toilet, but we re working on solutions.
We do also have baby changing facilities in the ladies toilets
& free feminine products are also available,
